Widgets and bookmarklets
Put a scam checker on your own site, or add one-click checks to your browser. Both run in the visitor's browser and store nothing.
Bookmarklets
Drag a button to your bookmarks bar. Clicking it on any page opens the check with the page address or your selected text filled in. A few sites with strict security policies block bookmarklets; the copied code can also be pasted into the address bar of a new bookmark.
Opens the link inspector with the address of the page you are on. The address travels in the part after the # sign, so it is not sent to our server until you choose to.
Select a suspicious message on any page, click this, and the scam checker opens with the text already in it.
Embed on your website
Paste one line where you want the checker. Good for banks' and schools' help pages, community groups and news sites: your readers can check a suspicious message without leaving the page.
